Description
- Cleaned and Milled Our dals are thoroughly cleaned and graded according to size using sieves. Our mini dal mill then separates whole pulses from split and broken grain and husk.
- Sun-dried Our pulses are soaked in water for 60-90 minutes and dried in the sun in clean open spaces for upto three days.
- Unpolished While our pulses may not be shiny and attractive, they are unpolished and unadulterated, keeping their fibre-rich outer layer intact. This makes them nutrient-dense and superior in taste and flavour.
- No Preservatives or Chemicals Our pulses are carefully curated from single-origin crops from chemical-free farms, grown without the use of any pesticides or insecticides.
- Sustainable Practices Our grassroots programmes are encouraging farmers to adopt sustainable and organic growing practices, to achieve greater outcomes for farmers and consumers in the long-run.
Our nutrient-dense Arhar Dal is a rich source of protein, and fibre, making you feel full for a longer time and keeping hunger pangs at bay. It is also rich in folic acid, making it an excellent source of iron for pregnant women. Our pulses are unpolished and sourced from chemical-free farms in the Mewar region of Bundelkhand and the ferlite riverbanks of Chambal. Grown and processed entirely by women, we take utmost care at every stage of the supply chain to ensure that we bring you clean and fresh produce and of the finest quality.
